WeatherTech will advertise its automotive floor mats during Super Bowl XLVIII. The 30-second ad is called "You Can't Do That." It will air during the second quarter of the big game. The ad will highlights how the floor mats are made on American made machines with domestically sourced raw materials by American workers. The mats are made at a plant in in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
David MacNeil, founder and CEO of WeatherTech, says in a release, "We have been thinking about buying ad time during the Super Bowl for the past three years. With our confidence in the improving economy and the reach of over 111 million viewers that the Super Bowl coverage provides, we thought it was the right time to make the investment. It is a big outlay for our company, but we are looking at as an investment in our brand as well as in the future of our employees and their families. The huge Super Bowl audience was the deciding factor for us to make such a large marketing commitment."
