5th Annual Cadillac/Mobil 1 Super Bowl Grand Prix Results
The 5th Annual Cadillac/Mobil 1 Super Bowl Grand Prix was a SuperKarts race competition of athletes and celebrities. Leeann Tweeden won first place, Nick Lachey came in second and Access Hollywood's Tony Potts came in third. Other celebrity racers included Fergie, Terrence Howard, Melina Kanakaredes, Venus Williams, Matt Leinart, Queen Latifah, Paul Rudd, Missy Elliott, Shawne Merriman plus, defending champion, Josh Duhamel. Vivica A. Fox was the official Cadillac Grand Prix flag girl.
Each celebrity race in a SuperKart -- go-karts specifically designed for racing, powered by a 10 horsepower engine. The SuperKart allows speeds up to 65 miles-per-hour.
Cadillac presented the MVR (Most Valuable Racer) Award to Leeann, along with $10,000, which will be donated to her charity, Wounded Warriors; $5,000 to Nick Lachey, which will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation; and $3,500 to Tony Potts of Access Hollywood, which will be donated to the Haven House. Cadillac also made a $10,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
