The North American International Auto Show, also known as the Detroit Auto Show, was held January 13th to January 27th at the Cobo Center. Here is a look back at some of the highlights and coverage.
The Saturn Aura and Chevrolet Silverado win the Car and Truck of the Year titles (pictured on the right).
Yahoo's Buzz Log offered this search-laden summary. "This year's popular designs in Search include the Ford Interceptor, Acura's Advanced Sports Car concept, the revised (but still bitchin') Camaro concept car, and the Chrysler Imperial. Call them lane hogs, over-compensators, or show-stoppers -the concept car is indeed the once and future king of the road."

The Wheels blog from the New York Times gives its hits and misses from this year's Detroit Auto Show.
The WSJ's Auto Show Tracker describes the Mercedes-Benz ice rink: "The most elaborate stand here in Detroit? That has to go to Mercedes-Benz, which has an S-Class sedan displayed on an ice rink measuring about 40 feet by 80 feet. Skaters were gliding around the car to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the company's four-wheel drive technology."
